About
Alexandra Jiménez is a Honduran-American Filmmaker. She was born in Fort Lauderdale, FL, USA; she moved to Honduras at a very young age. She grew up mainly with her mother's family, especially her grandparents.Bachelor in International Relations from the Universidad Catolica de Honduras (2016)Diploma in Film and Gender Studies from Escuela de Cine "Una Mirada Propia" from the Colectiva de Cineastas Hondureñas (2020)Master in Project Management from the Universidad José Cecilio del Valle (2022)She has done four short films: "Domingo" (live-action), "Mi Casita de Cristal" (animation), "Sin Miedo" (documentary) and "En la Tercera Repisa" (animation). She's producing her first feature animation film "Ariana en el Mar de Nubes" through BAST Animation She is currently developing an animated series and two feature documentaries with BAST Animation.
